Like any other country in Sub Saharan Africa, Kenya continues to struggle in  its quest to attain food security in the face of climatic changes and population growth.This has added more pressure on land management and utilization.As the chief resource in agricultural activities,Land has become an emmotive issue and indeed has been attributed to, as the chief contributor  of conflicts between rural communities .These conflicts generally  affect agricultural output which in return compound food security and impoverish farmers.Even though there are numerous agricultural policies and measures that have been put in place to spur agricultural growth,Kenyan farmers are still faced with challenges which must be  addressed.To attain the goals that are envisaged in the vision 2030 blueprint, Agriculture must be given the necessary operational frameworks from which all the stakeholders must adhere to and operate within to realize  effective agricultural regimes.
