ROP - rural outreach programme Africa is a non. governmental organization working with registerd groups throuth the following projects: African leafy vegetables, Dairy project, value addition/nutrition, Intergraded soil fertility management, rocket stoves, organic ferming, conservation of environment and general agriculture. Farmers access knowledge/skills through: field days,trainings/workshops and farmers information hub.
FARMERS INFORMATION HUB
R.O.P Collaborate with Infonet Bio vision where by they organize capacity building workshops to train extension service providers to farmers, after trainings they take the same skills to farmers. I have been able to train many farmers on how to access information through email. Farmers always come to our information hub twice per week i.e Mondays and Thursdays. Farmers always have success stories after trainings.
