After sending vegetables to different regions of Madagascar for many years, farmers from Ambohimanambola with the Cluster "Fruits & Legumes Analamanga" working in partnership with Faly Export, PROSPERER Programme (funded by IFAD), the Chambre of Commerce in Antananarivo and the Ministry of Agriculture are now exporting legumes to Comoros.
From February to June 2011, 140 tons of fruits and vegetables have been exported in 7 containers (20').

This new business improves livelihood of many farmers around Ambohimanambola.
On top, human right and equity is respected.
Even if this business is happening in very remote and poor environment, HOREB label promotes fair trade. The Ambohimanambola center respects and adopts some international policies. For instance:
- salaries are given to women preparing the goods: $1,5/day (8h) + additional for extra hours
- women are allowed to breastfeed their baby
- a canteen is organized for workers at noon
- 30 mns break are allowed everyday
