The college has at present 136 members of Academic and Administrative staff and about 721 students pursuing a variety of courses offered by the Faculty of Agriculture, mainly in the Departments of Agricultural Engineering, Animal Science, Crop Science, Home Economics and Human Nutrition, and Language and Development Communication and also by the Faculty of Environmental Sciences, mainly in the Departments of Aquaculture and Fisheries Science, Natural Resources Management and Horticulture and Forestry. The newly established Faculty of Development Studies trains students in the following departments; Agribusiness management, Extension, Agriculture and Applied Economics as well as Language and Development Communication.
