Here we are! We had a very empowering PSTAD workshop in Maputo on the 25 - 28 October 2010.
What were the objectives for this workshop?
The objective of the meeting / workshop was:
- to review the progress of implementation of the PSTAD project (RAILS and DONATA) in the SADC-FANR sub-region
- to draw lessons learnt from the challenges in the implementation that will be critical to ensure improved institutional arrangements and workplans.
What where the Specific Objectives ?
Specifically, the workshop will:
· develop national workplans
· develop institutional arrangement for the project implementation at all levels (i.e. national, regional and continental) such as project management and coordination
· review and train project partners on required procurement and disbursement procedures,
· re-orient and train the focal points on the project tools such as e-RAILS and IPTA
