Seychelles Agricultural Agency (SAA)
To facilitate and support the enhancement of National Food Security;
To facilitate the increase of contribution of agriculture in the Country’s GDP;
To facilitate the modernization and development of the agricultural sector.
Functions of the SAA Assist in the formulation and implementation of NationalAgricultural Policies; Support the development of agricultural sector through technical assistance and services; Facilitate formal and informal training of sector personnel; Facilitate the achievement of agricultural production and targets set out in the ADS 2007 – 2011 and the FSS 2008-2011; Assist with adequate stocks of agro inputs; Implement programmes and projects in agriculture; Participate in national and international meetings.
