Institutional frame of KMS
Stakeholders involving competent agricultural experts (Scientists), ICT experts together with farmers will work together on given problems in agriculture including fish and livestock. This is characterised by a number of organisations and institutions (NARS) that each carry out certain activities in agriculture research and development including outreach. The institutional arrangement will facilitate the anlysis, finding and implementing solutions and ensuring that farmers are satisfied with the work of the institutions as well organizing and management service, operating in a well coordinated manner.
The target groups are farmers, while suppliers of information including experts of research organisations, libraries, government agencies and development agencies have to be identified. Partners like government agencies, Ngo's, universalities, research institutes, development agencies, farmers’ associations are also part of the institutional frame of the KMS and have to be analysed to create the best support and minising the threat of isolation and improving the sustainability of the KMS in Zambia.
